ECJLL (M) - Wolves Sweep Bandits with Game 3 Win

The Sackville Wolves completed the sweep over the Dartmouth Bandits last night, winning their best-of-5 semi-final series 3-0 with a 14-4 win. This will be the third straight year that the Wolves have advanced to the ECJLL Finals.
As has been the case in their previous playoff games this year, the Wolves relied on 10 different scorers and scored goals on both the settled offense and in transition. Ty Wheatley (3), Alfie West (2), AJ O’Connell (2), Alex Bechard, Ethan Muir, Jordan Whitford, Brandon Lacroix, Jack Dulong, AJ Stephenson and Cooper Puma all scored for the Wolves, who outscored Dartmouth 41-15 in the series.
Noah Cox again held the #2 seed Bandits to just 4 goals for his third straight playoff victory.
Shamus Locke (3) and Trayner McCulloch replied for the Bandits.
The Bandits had won the previous five ECJLL Championships, and this will be the first time since 2015 that they have not been in the ECJLL Finals.
The Wolves await the outcome of the Hurricanes vs Rapids series to see who the will face for the Garnet Knight Cup.
