Hurricanes and Wolves make history playing the first ECJLL Female Division game.

This Tuesday, May 3rd the Halifax Hurricanes hosted the first ECJLL Female game in history. An incredible turnout and smooth start to the season, with special guest Julie Finck doing the ceremonial face-off with Captains Brooke Rose (Wolves) and Veronica Curry (Hurricanes). 

 

Both teams battled it out, with the Hurricanes winning 8-4. Hurricanes Samantha Taylor (2G, 1A), Kate Rossiter (2G, 1A), Ava Lorette (2G), Elizabeth Smithers (1G,1A) and Georgia Davis (1G) put up the points to hold a steady lead. Wolves Kelsie Johnson (1G, 1A), Halley James (1G), and Lauryn Swallow (2G) all replied for the Wolves. 

 

Next up, the Wolves will travel to Musquodoboit to take on the Eastern Shore Breakers.
