The ECJLL(M) 2022 Entry Draft for Nova Scotia players will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022. The draft will be held virtually with just board members in attendance. Follow the ECJLL Twitter feed (@theECJLL) for live announcements of the picks.
The ECJLL(M) 2022 Entry Draft for Nova Scotia players will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022. The draft will be held virtually with just board members in attendance. Follow the ECJLL Twitter feed (@theECJLL) for live announcements of the picks.
Due to a change in the age groups by Lacrosse Canada, the 2022 ECJLL (M) Draft will consist of 2 drafts, one for 2004-born players and another for 2005-born players. The draft for 2004-born players will occur first, followed immediately by the 2005 draft.
Leading up to the draft, the ECJLL(M) will hold its 2022 Combine on Saturday, March 5. The Combine allows players to showcase their skills in front of the five Nova Scotia-based teams, and it also allows the teams to evaluate each player in advance of the ECJLL (M) Draft. Combine details here.
As the ECJLL continues with a modified draft style, teams can protect a limited number of players. Protected lists will be announced at the beginning of each draft. Any player not on a protected list will be entered into the 2022 Entry Draft.
This is an exciting time for 2004 & 2005-born players, as they begin their Junior A lacrosse careers!
