Bandits Win 5th Consecutive ECJLL Championship

The Dartmouth Bandits defeated the Sportwheels Wolves 13-4 on Wednesday evening to win their 5th consecutive Garnet Knight Cup! This is the Bandits 7th ECJLL Championship, one more than the 6 title won by the Halifax Hurricanes.
The Wolves lead 2-0 after the 1st quarter, but Dartmouth scored 5 goals in the 2nd quarter to lead 5-3 at half, and it was all Bandits in the 2nd half, outscoring the Wolves 8-1.
Jordan McKenna was on a mission for the Bandits, scoring 5 goals and collecting 2 assists on the night. Cody Carta-Bomersine has a hat-trick and Brett Draper, Shamus Locke, Tyson Carvery, Will Hambley and Chris Malette also scored for the Bandits.
Zac Carrigan had 2 goals for the Wolves, with Ben McKay and Connor Dennis each scoring a goal.
Both teams will see significant turnover on their rosters next year as both the Wolves and Bandits will be graduating 10+ players from their roster, so this was the final ECJLL game for approximately 50% of the players that played in last nights game.
