Bandits defeat Rebels, Will Play for Garnet Knight Cup

Tied 3-3 at half, the Dartmouth Bandits scored 11 goals in the 2nd half to win 14-4, defeating the St. Margaret's Bay Rebels 2-0 in their semi-final series. The Bandits will now attempt to win their 5th consecutive ECJLL Championship.
Brett Draper had 6 points (3G 3A), and Cody Carta-Bomersine and Luke Steinburg added 2 goals each for the Bandits. Singles went to Jordan McKenna, Matt Wilson, Keaton Brown, Brady Crossley, Simon Lassaline, Dakota Morrisey and Trayner McCulloch.
Zach Whitford had his 2nd hat-trick in his 2nd playoff game and Ethan Locke added a single for the Rebels. This was the last ECJLL game for Zach Whitford, Cam Jackman, Daniel Locke and goalie Cole Reschny.
The Bandits will await the results of Wednesday's Wolves vs Hurricanes game to learn who they will be playing in the ECJLL Championship (the Garnet Knight Cup). The best-of-3 final is expected to commence next Monday, August 16, location TBD.
