Bandits Hold on for Win, Claim 1st Place

The Dartmouth Bandits had a commanding 11-4 lead early in the 4th quarter, but the Sportwheels Wolves scored 5 straight goals to make for an exciting finish. The Bandits shut the door in the final 90 seconds for the 11-9 win.
Luke Steinburg had 6 points (2G 4A) and Keaton Brown had a hat-trick to pace the Bandits. Tyson Carvery with 2 goals, Dakota Morrisey, Matt Wilson, Sam Cox and Shamus Locke also scored for the Bandits.
Zac Carrigan had 5 goals for the Wolves, verly likely clinching both the goal scoring title (28 goals) and the total points title (40 points). Ben McKay with 2 goals, Mike Anthony and Sam Humphreys also scored for the Wolves.
With the win the Bandits move into a tie for first place with the Halifax Hurricanes, but will claim 1st place overall based on goal differential. The Bandits have one game left on the season when they host the Mi'kmaq Warrikors on Friday, before beginning their semi-final playoff series against the St. Margaret's Bat Rebels on Sunday.
The Wolves will finish the season in 3rd place and will face the Halifax Hurricanes on Saturday in their first game of their semi-final series.
