Greyson and Child Combine for 7 Goals as Hurricanes Defeat Rebels

Greyson, Child and Holmes combined for 14 points as the Halifax Hurricanes defeated the Rebels 13-5 last evening in Spryfield.
Francis Greyson had 4 goals, Aidan Child recorded a hat-trick, Glen Holmes had 7 points (2 goals 5 assists) and Jack Letterick scored his first 2 goals of the season for the Hurricanes. Zach Glazebrook and Isaac Abbot also scored for Halifax. Nate Jollymore held the Rebels to 5 goals for his 3rd win of the season.
Brandon Scott with 2 goals, Liam Swallow, Ben Normandeau and Stu Smeltzer replied for the Rebels.
With 2 games remaining in the regular season the Hurricanes moved into sole possession of 2nd place, 2 pts behind the Bandits and 2 points ahead of the Wolves. Both the Bandits and Wolves have 3 games remaining.
The Hurricanes will travel to Shearwater to play the 1st place Bandits on Friday evening. The Hurricanes and Rebels then close out the regular season next Monday in Spryfield, where the Rebels will try to secure the final playoff spot.
