Horne Records the First ECJLL Shutout in 4 years, Bandits Remain Undefeated
2021-07-2416 year-old Kiegan Horne earns his first ECJLL shutout, and the first in the ECJLL since June 2017, as the Dartmouth Bandits blanked the Mi’kmaq Warriors 14-0 last night in Truro.
Keaton Brown had 6 points (4G 2A), including a natural hat-trick in the 1st quarter, and Nicholas Mugford added 3 more in the 2nd quarter for his own natural hat-trick. Luke Steinburg added 2 goals for the Bandits and Dakota Morrisey, Will Hambley, Chris Bungay, Sam Cox and Thomas Davies added singles.
The Bandits return to action on Sunday with a visit to the St. Margaret’s Bay Rebels in Spryfield, while the Warriors will face the Sportwheels Wolves for the first time this season on Tuesday night in Sackville.
