Bandits Move To 2-0 With Win Over The Wolves

On a steamy night in the Shearwater Arena Jordan McKenna had 7 points and Ashton Brown recorded his first ECJLL win, and first ECJLL point, as the Bandits topped the Wolves 11-3.

The Bandits took a 5-2 lead into the 4th quarter and with two goals in the first 30 seconds they stretched the lead to 7-2 and cruised from there. Former Orangeville Northmen and Halifax Moosehead Jordan McKenna had 7 points (4G 3 A) and Halifax Thunderbirds draft pick Brett Draper had 5 points (2G 3A) to lead the Bandits. Luke Steinburg had 2 goals, and Keaton Brown, Tyson Carvery and Chris Bungay each had a goal.
Ashton Brown, in his first ECJLL game, held the Wolves to just 3 goals to earn the win. He also added 1 assist to join his brother Dalton (1A) and Keaton (1G 3A) on the scoresheet.
Zac Carrigan had two goals and Mitch Broussard added a single for the Wolves.
The Bandits next game is against the 1st place Halifax Hurricanes on Monday evening in Spryfield, while the Wolves host the St. Margaret’s Bay Rebels on Tuesday in Sackville. A reminder that tickets are not available at the door and can only be arranged through the teams.
