Wolves force a Game 5 with the Hurricanes

The road team with their 4th win of this series and the Wolves take down the Hurricanes 10-6 at BMO centre. The Wolves win forces a deciding game 5 in this series on Wednesday night

Monday night had Game 4 of the Halifax Hurricanes vs. Sackville Wolves best of 5 semi final playoffs being played at BMO Centre, where many fans came out to cheer these two awesome teams on. From Game 1 to this game, the lacrosse action between these 2 teams has been fast-paced and hard-hitting.

Wolves were the first to score, netting the goal just 8 seconds of the first faceoff and by the end of the 1st period, had scored 5 goals. Hurricanes were unable to score for most of this period, finally scoring with just over a minute left in the period. Wolves led Hurricanes 5-1 at the end of the 1st.

During the 2nd period, Wolves continued to run up their side of the scoreboard, adding 3 goals over the 20 minutes, while Hurricanes were only able to score just once. At the end of this period, the scoreboard read 8-2 for the Wolves.

As the 3rd period played out, Hurricanes found their wind and blew by the Wolves‘ defence and scored 4 goals. Wolves replied with 2 goals of their own, ending the game with a score of 10-6.

scoring for the Hurricanes were David Rossiter and will Holmes with 2 goals each, and Stu Smeltzer and Jackson Davis adding a goal apiece. 

Wolves were led in scoring by captain Mitch Broussard with 4 goals and by Zac Carrigan with a hat trick. 

Wolves win Game 4, forcing this best of 5 series to go to the end. Game 5 goes Wed night, at Sackville Arena, 730p faceoff!
