For their 2nd game of the weekend, the NB Mavericks travelled to Sackville Arena to take on the Sackville Wolves on a warm sunny Sunday afternoon.

With the 2nd period in play, Mavericks stepped up their own game and out scored Wolves getting 4 goals to the Wolves’ 4, and after 40 minutes of play were trailing the Wolves by only 1 point, with a score of 5-4 for the home team.

In the 3rd period, Wolves tried their best to maintain the lead and for the first half of it, they did just that. But Mavericks were determined and did not give up even until the last minute of the game. With less than a minute left to play and the Wolves in the lead by 1 point again, the Mavericks scored tying the score and the game ended in a 10-10 tie.
