Bandits drop the Rebels in the first of two games

The Bandits proved to be too strong for the Rebels after an even first period the first place Bandits took over. The Bandits dropped the Rebels 12 -5 and will meet again on Saturday in Berwick
In Wednesday lacrosse action, Dartmouth Bandits faced off against the St. Margaret’s Bay Rebels for the second match up between these 2 teams.
The game was evenly balanced over the 1st period as the teams ended the period in a tie 3-3.
As the 2nd period played out, Bandits took over control of the floor as they scored 6 more goals on the Rebels, while holding the Rebels to only 1 goal, ending 40 mins of play with a score of 9-4.
In the 3rd, the Bandits once again only allowed the Rebels 1 goal as they buried 3 goals into their opponents’ net. Bandits stole the win this night with a score of 12-5.
Bandits were led in scoring with 2 players having hat tricks – Dalton Brown and Luke Stienburg. Tyson Carvery and Dakota Morrisey added to the scoring with 2 goals each.
Rebels scoring was spread across 5 players – Max Pellerine, Luke Wilson, Colby Burton, Brandon Scott, and Jacob Gagnon.
These 2 teams play each other again today in the ECJLL’s Jr A game that is part of the Valley Cup lacrosse tournament in Berwick at the Kings Mutual Century Centre at 4pm. Looking forward to seeing all our tournament players and lax fans there to cheer them on!!!
