andits find their rhythm to take game 3 and extend the series

With their back against the wall Dartmouth Bandits responded with their best game of the series; taking down the Hurricanes 8-5 to move the series back to the BMO on Wednesday for game #4
Dartmouth Bandits came back from a 2 game deficit to win game 3 of the ECJLL Championship series, staying alive and forcing Game 4 against Halifax Hurricanes in Sunday night lacrosse action.
Both Bandits and Hurricanes opened the 1st period full of determination and focus. Each of these teams' defensive lines played strong, as the first goal in the period was not scored until over 7 mins into the period, by the Bandits. Hurricanes replied 2.5 mins later to tie up the score, and scoring was again blocked by both teams, ending the period 1-1.
Bandits turned up the fire in the second after the Hurricanes defense kept them from scoring in the first half of this period and added 4 goals in less than 9 mins of play. At the end of 40 mins, Bandits had the lead at 5-3.
The last 20 mins of this game were full of excitement for the fans and hard playing action by the players. Bandits kept their scoring strong, netting 3 more goals, as the Hurricanes added 2 more goals to their score. Bandits win their first championship series game with a score of 8-5.
Hurricanes' Stu Smeltzer and Alex Campbell both scored a pair of goals, as goaltender Matt Kent kept a strong guard on the net all night.
Bandits' Breton Penney, Dalton Brown and Dakota Morrissey all scored 2 goals a piece. Goaltender Brett McKinnon was strong between the pipes all game.
