Hurricanes drop the Wolves 9-7 to take the season series

The Hurricanes take their final regular season game against the Wolves 9-7. These two teams will not prepare to meet in the first round of the ECJLL players starting July 9th
On Tues night Halifax Hurricanes faced off against Sackville loved at the Sackville Rink in what would prove to be a tight scoring game.
Throughout the 1st and 2nd periods, these two teams who were 2nd and 3rd in the standings kept the score tied at the end of the periods. 1st ended in a 2-2 tie, while each team scored 4 points in the next 20 mins to end the 2nd at 6-6.
Hurricanes' stepped up the game in the last period, scoring 3 and keeping the Wolves to only 1 goal. Hurricanes took the win in their last game if regular season play, 9-7.
Hurricanes were led in scoring by Glenn Holmes (2 goals, 1 assist) and David Rossitier (2 goals, 1 assist).
Wolves were led in scoring by Mike Anthony while Mitch Broussard had 1 goal and 2 assists.
These two teams will face off again in the first round of playoffs. These will be games not to be missed.
Up next on the ECJLL schedule Dartmouth Bandits play their last regular season game, which is also their last home game, as they host Mi'kmaq Warriors tonight at Shearwater Rink at 7:30pm.
