Bandits spoil the Wolves home Opener at Sackville Arena

The Sackville Wolves could stop the Bandits unbeaten streak in their first game at Sackville Arena. The Wolves defense had been strong in the past two game but 2017 ECJLL MVP Breton Penney lead the Bandits with 4 goals in a 17 - 9 victory
Tuesday night's ECJLL matchup between the Dartmouth Bandits and Sackville Wolves was anticipated to be full of action and it didn't disappoint.
Wolves were finally at home at the Sackville Rink for the first time this season and all players were primed for game time. Bandits scored first in just 32 secs of the game with the Wolves replying only 30 secs later with their first goal. The Wolves quickly added another to the scoreboard just another 40 secs after that. At the end of the first, Bandits led this face-paced period at 7-3.
Bandits continued their led throughout the second, scoring 6 times in that over Wolves' 3 goals in that 20 min period.
Wolves' defence played hard in the 3rd, keeping the Bandits scoring down to 4, as they themselves scored 3 again. Unfortunately it was not enough to win the game and the Bandits finish this action packed game with 17 goals and adding another win to their streak.
