Wolves down Hurricanes in a classic comeback

In Monday\'s night ECJLL action, Halifax Hurricanes hosted the Sackville Wolves at the BMO Arena. These two teams have had two classic battles already this season, and this game was another thriller. The Wolves down the Hurricanes for the first time this season, after a come from behind victory 7 -6 .
Wolves where lead by Zac Carrigan with 4 goals and an assist including the game wiiner at 9:49 of the 3rd period. Mitch Broussard had 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) while Ben McKay had 3 (2 goals, 1 assist). Sackville Goalie Ryan MacDonald recorded the win, making some clutch saves down the stretch to seal the victory for the Wolves.
Hurricanes were lead by Glenn Holmes 3 goals an assist, while Matt Orman recorded two points on the evening. Hurricanes captain Luke Smeltzer was back in the line up for the first time this season, recorded a goal in his return.
Sackville Wolves next game is Wednesday May 30th as they host the Dartmouth Bandits in the Rocky Lake Dome at 7:30pm.
