Hurricanes spoil the Wolves Home Opener in a nail bitter

The Hurricanes for the second game in a row dominated the 2nd period and never looked backed. The hurricanes where led by David Rossiter (2g, 2a) and Glen Holmes (1g, 3a) with 4 points each on the night. Will Holmes, Reilly Letterick and Matt Orman also buried two goals in the victory The Wolves faught back in the 3rd with 4 goals, but fell short when the final buzzer sounded. The Wolves were led by Ben MacKay with 6 points (2g, 4a) while Zac Carrigan and Matt Wilson had 3 points each on the night. The ECJLL will take a few nights off before the Halifax Hurricanes will be back in action as they travel down to Shearwater to take on the undefeated Dartmouth Bandits at 7:30pm. In the first spirited match up between these two the Bandits came out on top 8-5. This has the making of another classic in Shearwater
