Mavericks knock off the Wolves to get their first win of the Season

The Mavericks get their first win of the season win a victory over the Wolves on their Opening weekend at home.
NB Mavericks win 11-9 over Sackville Wolves in the Mavs 2nd game of their weekend home opener! This gives the Mavs their 1st win of the season.
On a beautiful Mother's Day in the Hub City, Mavericks came out and played strong, dominating the scoreboard in both the first and second period. Wolves ramped up their scoring in the third, but were unable to take over the win.
Mavericks' high scorers were Dylan Carr with 3 goals and 2 assists, Remi Theriault with 2 goals and Nick Buck with 2 goals and 1 assist.
Wolves' Matt Wilson netted 3 goals and 4 assists with Ben MacKay also scoring a hat trick and 3 assists.
Next up on the ECJLL schedule is Halifax Hurricanes hosting Mi'kmaq Warriors tomorrow night, Mon May 14 at 730pm at the BMO Centre Bedford. Come out to see some great Jr A Lacrosse action and cheer them on.
