Warriors down Mavericks to close out Opening Weekend

Game #3 of the ECJLL 2018 season was played today with the Mi\'kmaq Warriors hosting the NB Mavericks.
Warriors' rookie Jordan Whitford scored his 1st hat trick in the ECJLL league, with Connor Dennis also pulling a hat trick for the team. Bryson Knockwood added 2 goals and 5 assists to the game sheet.
Leading the Mavericks in scoring was Dylan Carr and Zach Watson with 2 goals each. Dylan alsoadded 3 assists as did Jan Magarvey.
This was quite a game with the Warriors leading in scoring in both the 1st and 2nd periods. The Mavericks put 6 goals on the scoreboard in the 3rd period, including their last one with less than 2 secs left to play!
Next game is Monday, May 7 with the Dartmouth Bandits traveling to the BMO Centre in Bedford to play the Halifax Hurricanes at 7:30pm. Come out to cheer on some great Jr. A lacrosse action!!
