Getting To Know ... Mitch Broussard, Wolves

The 2018 ECJLL Draft is only days away and in our Getting To Know… article we are reaching out to a team that has had strong draft picks, the Sackville Wolves, with offensive player Mitch Broussard
Mitch was taken #3 overall by the Sackville Wolves in the 2016 ECJLL Midget Draft. Known as one of the most athletic players in the ECJLL, Mitch has a skill in finding the hole in every defense with the scoring touch to bring the Wolves to a new level. In his first season Mitch finished with 37 points (16 g and 21 assists), 2nd in team scoring to Connor Aquanno. In only his second season Mitch was given the ‘C’ as the leader of the new generation of Wolves, which he wears with pride. Mitch’s leadership is not only in the dressing room, but he led the Wolves in scoring with 32 goals and 31 assists for a total of 63 points, 5th overall in the league. Mitch was named to the 1st team all-star in 2017. Mitch and the Wolves are primed to make a run at the ECJLL championship in 2018.
Mitch is a true athlete, not only has he excelled for the Wolves, but also plays DB for the Dal Tigers football team. Mitch was also joined by Wolves line mate Chris Duplisea on the Tigers roster in 2017. Mitch will be looking to lead the Wolves deeper into the playoffs this year after falling in the first round to the Hurricanes.

Practice every position on the floor and be ready and willing to do whatever it takes to help your team win.
