After scoring 9 points (8G 1A) in his sophomore campaign for the Limestone College saints of the Eastern College Athletic Conference of the NCAA's DII, the team put a stamp on their playoff run, capturing their third national championsip in four years.
Huyghue, an attack man who has played locally and provincially before moving on to play for Limestone College, scored in the Second Quarter, starting a late surge in the half for the Saints, who ultimately prevailed 11-9.
This is Limestone's third win in four years, and fifth national championship overall.
