ECJLL Midget Entry Draft

The ECJLL Midget Entry Draft is scheduled for February 8th, 2017. We will be live tweeting the draft as well as posting the draft immediately following the conclusion.
All 2000 born players not property of an ECJLL Junior minor association will soon find out their fate as the 2017 ECJLL Midget Entry Draft is scheduled for February 8th, 2017.
This year's draft doesn't come with the same top level talent that has existed in previous years, but does come with a certain level of intrigue. 20 players on the ECJLL list of draft eligible players come from outside the MMLL and traditional hot bed for lacrosse in Nova Scotia. Of those, 16 are representing the Cape Breton Lacrosse Association (CBLA).
The CBLA has had a resurgence in recent years, with players making the jump last year and playing for the Mi'kmaq Warriors. There association has teams from Peewee to Midget and has been a bright spot in the resurgance of lacrosse stretching across Nova Scotia.
